This is were our 11 kilometer hike started to Lake O'Hara. This lake can only reached by foot or by shuttle. The last should be booked in advance. When hiking to the lake it is possible to take the shuttle back to the parking lot.

This is the Lake O'Hare shuttle which we resisted to take, even when the guide told us there were still some seats free to take us to the lake.

Three of us (and me behind the camera) on the road. A few weeks before we took of to Canada we found out that a collegue of mine with her boyfriend also had planned a Canada holiday at the same time. Besides that we found out that we were 3 times at the same day in the same area, even though we planned complete different tours. Since we were in bear county and we both not quite walking alone in the woods we decided to make this look hike together.
