On the same area a Native Wildlife Sanctuary is created. A fence is used to keep the fermine out (mice, rats, opossums etc.). Local plants are grown here and the local birds can be watched. On this (and the next) photo a Tui, D: Toei, G: Honigfresser, Lat: Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae, a native nectar eating bird, is shown.
